What we collect

When you book, request a quote, apply for work or contact us we collect the details you give us: name, email, phone number, address and postcode, the service you want, and any notes you add. We also keep records of the emails we send you and basic technical information such as your IP address for security.

Why we use it

• To provide the cleaning service you booked and send confirmations, reminders and follow-ups
• To match cleaners with jobs and pay them
• To reply to your enquiries
• To send occasional offers by email if you've agreed to receive them (you can unsubscribe at any time)
• To keep records required by law, such as invoices

Who we share it with

Your cleaner receives the details needed to do the job (name, address, phone, notes). We use trusted providers to run our website and send email: our website is hosted by Hostinger and emails are sent through Brevo. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Booking and invoice records are kept for six years as required for tax purposes. Enquiries that don't lead to a booking are deleted after 12 months. Cleaner applications that aren't successful are deleted after six months.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to marketing, by emailing hello@bookmycleaning.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

The site uses a session cookie when you sign in and no advertising cookies. If we add analytics we'll update this page.
